NMDC's GIS and Mapping Department has been using industry standard GIS software for a variety of projects since 2000. This has facilitated the evolution and assimilation of our extensive computer mapping to a full Geographic Information System (GIS) environment.
The current database includes geographic base data at the at the town, regional, and state levels. This data is used in a variety of projects, including transportation, economic development, and planning projects. NMDC provides a variety of mapping services to member towns upon request.
